This series contains documents pertaining to various Lutheran organizations around the world. These organizations include:

1) The Lutheran Confessional Synod – A synod formed by one individual congregation which broke from the ELCA.

2) The Evangelish-Lutherischen Freikirche (ELFK) – A German church body in fellowship with the WELS and a member of the CELC.

3) WELS Southeast Asian Missions – WELS missions in Southeast Asia did not participate in the founding of the CELC.

4) The International Lutheran Conference (ILC) – A world-wide organization of Lutheran church bodies formed by the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod (LCMS).

5) Lutherans in former East Prussia – At the prompting of a WELS member in Illinois, the WELS distributed humanitarian aid among Germans in the area formally known as East Prussia.
