Scope and Contents Records consist of documents collected by Professor Harold Johne during his time as a member of the CIM and as chairman of the CME. The vast majority of the materials regard the activities of the CME from 1990-1992. Included are meeting minutes, planning documents, and budget reports. The bulk of the records, however, is correspondence between the CME and world mission fields around the globe. Scope and Contents The collection contains materials related to the WELS World Missions in Japan. Beginning in 1952 with the exploration of mission work in Japan through to the late 1980s, this collection contains reports, correspondence, ictures, surveys, slides, and other materials related to our synod's mission work in Japan.
